Seems every where you look there are problems, I can flick through countless news programs and I will come across some depressing story or another. I walk the streets and see racists and bigots. The human race has accumulated all its vices and flaws and seems intent on dumping all the issues in this century. We were all so blinded by the temptation of this way of living, myself included.
Is there hope? who do we turn to in this, our time of need, with rockets and bombs falling, and bullets flying all slaying the young and the old, the rich and the poor alike. Rewarding only those that sell these machinations of death, who too would just as easily be killed by their own creations. Made so simply and single minded to slaughter the life of humans, animals and plants. It would be rather arrogant of me to think it's only man that suffers from man's mistakes.
There is no war in the heart of England, no chance of being caught in cross fire while buying milk. That said I am sure many of the people from the UK that use this sight have been intimidated by the youths of our society or maybe by the very established order that is here to protect us. There is a park near to where I write these views, a breeding ground of decadence and miscreants in every sense of the word. Is that the individualism that the teenagers of the 60's and 70's fought so hard to get? Children taking knives to schools and teachers prosecuted for apprehending them, all in the name of false human rights. We have the right to speak but not to live, you know you need reform when you see a pensioner imprisoned merely for fighting back at assailants, the world over needs change, we need unity. I am young but I see the old ways, the tried and tested are failing us.
Intellectuals and politicians tell us about climate change, we listen. Some of us change, most of us do not. Why do the people with the power refuse to act on it. Would we be angry if a person pulled us back from in front of a car? I do not think it's too late to change. Anyone that says it is, is just a weak-willed and selfish individual. The problems are world-spread now, be it the wrath of gods or racist countries starting wars. We are all the human race, our fates are all tied. Embrace it, we can still be individuals and still be a collective.
